I'm currently living in Ontario, Canada and have had a dream to eventually relocate to the US to expand my career opportunities. Well... the occasion is knocking as my current company is considering me for a management position in Greensboro, North Carolina.
If any of you live near that area or would have some positive comments about this opportunity to help me, I'd really appreciate it.
From the research I have done online, it appears to be a nice area to live in with a decent cost of living and of course, the weather is awesome for riding compared to our winters...
I live about 20 - 30 minutes away from Greensboro. It puts you in a good place to hit the mountains, about 1.5-2 hours west, or the beach... about 4 hours east.
I personally would look for some place to live just outside the city, but that's me. I'm a country boy.
Holy crap thats a no brainer...any opportunity to move from an area that has 4 months out ofthe year of good bike riding to someplace that has almost year round riding isa go!
Good to hear about somebody immagrating to the US "with" a job. Maybe you northerners could teach some of those "south of the border" types about proper immagration....
C'mon down. Before you do, might want to learn some "southern english" Just watch some Jeff Foxworthy shows, you'll pick it up real quick. LOL. That's a grat area for riding, mountans to the west, beach ( read, bikini babes ) to the east. Fantastic place to raise a family too.
Great area, I actualy live close to and work alot in Greensboro. Working there would be great, easy to get around. Alot of new areas to move to on the outside of town. Can ride most of the year.
