I just call HD Custmer service and they informed my that is a recall for all `07 Nightster to change the exhaust shield, recall # 0131, do some else know more about this.

They did this for me at the 1K service... I didn't know about it and they told me after the fact that they had

 

But what the did to your bike??

 

Remedy: DEALERS WILL ADD A NEW HEAT SHIELD, P/N 66820-06, WHICH PROVIDES ADDITIONAL COVERAGE OF THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR ABOUT JULY 16, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HARLEY DAVIDSON AT 1-414-343-4056.
