I have an SE air cleaner on my bike now and want to swap it out with the Bigsucker stage 1 or 2. My question is will I need to rejet my carb if I do swap it out. The reason I want to switch is I am only 5'6 or so and find I cant get my right foot on the peg well enough to just relax my leg due to the oval shaped cover. I think switching to the round cleaner will fix my problem. Any input would be great.. Thanks.
Yep I believe Kuryakyan (spelling?) makes peg extensions. I had the same problem when I got my Street Bob. The stock football cover stuck out too far so i replaced it with a smaller circle one but also got longer Harley footpegs that are 1 inch longer than others. Helped quite a bit.
I will do some checking and see if I can find some. Would save some cash fr my drag bars. Are they just a new set of longer pegs or just a piece to extend them out. I have the cheap *** O'ring pegs now. They came on the scoot anyone know of a good peg that would be longer? I would like to switch them out but dont have alot of coin right now.
IF you do change to the Big Sucker, or any other AC (assuming you had a rejet when you installed the SE AC) your bike should run OK. However, to ensure proper A/F mixture you'd need a dyno run. Not all AC's are created equal...

Thanks for the info bud. I think I am going to try the peg extensions 1st and see if that helps.
I am having some trouble finding some extensions that are female mount with no offset. I am short and think any offset will put the pegs to far away from me. Anyone know of some part numbers? I think I may just go talk to the local shop or call j&p cycles.
