Default Highway peg Question?

I have been wanting to add highway pegs to my street glide. I guess my question is are the adjustable worth the extra $$? I found some adjustable one at my local dealer and some I guess you would call fixed. I have never rode or sit on a bike with any on it. When I stretch out my feet are about even with the bars. I don't know guess I'm just looking for a little input.

Likely to get all kids of answers but adjustable are definetly worth it. I have the Kury Longhorn Duallys and they are perfect. Once you go to having pegs in the right position you will never go back to floorboards only.... Even at low speed

Just a consideration, but are you ever going to move the pegs once you get them set to a comfortable position? If not, save the extra money. You know you'll want something else for your bike.

I purcashed the adjustable ones, I wanted to make sure I had all options possible to find my comfort zone.

I guess it would also depend on what style peg your using, if its the round style you would be fine. I think if your using more of a flat board style how would you adjust the angle of it up or down.

regardless of whether or not he will move them once set, the adjustables are still worth it. the fixed ones only have a few positions available while the adjustables are much more 'flexible' in their mounting. i haven't moved mine since installation, but the position they are in is not one that i would have available with the 'fixed' highway peg mounts.

I bought the adjustable ones for my Sporty. It is true that once installed and set 'just so' I am unlikely to ever adjust them again, but they ain't nowhere close to where the fixed ones are, according to the installed pictures! So fixed ones are fine if you just happen to be the right shape, but how do you discover that?!

I use HD Short Angled mounts.

I like being able to get them exactly where I want them.

I would [and did] go adjustables. Even after thinking I had them set just so and expecting to never tweak them again, I've adjusted them to be "more perfect". I even suspect I might adjust them again in the future to make them "even more perfect".

I didn't go with the adjustable as they don't make any for my engine guard, maybe I just got lucky with my position - but happy nonetheless....
