I unfortunately don't have a garage so i'm forced to park my harley on the street. I have a HD water repellant cover and it seems like every time i take the cover off i notice a new scratch on the tank. It's driving me nuts, advice anyone?
Seriously, is the cover lined? Are the scratches in just one area on the tank? Maybe you need to cover the tank with a soft towel before putting the cover on.
does it have a strap to "snug" it on the bottom? causing the cover to stretch from the tips of the handle bars tight to raise the cover off of the tank?.? elastic riding low on the tires to again, stretch, the cover to make it ride higher?
I use to use a Guardian cover and never had a problem.
my concern if it is that loose, would it be laying on the bike and getting condensate, just like that of touching the inside of a tent.
cover too big?
