It was a component of the cables. I dont remeber it being separate. When it comes to the electrics, I have my buddy do that, just worked on the brake lines and the major removal and bolting of all components.
looks great! i dont know if i want mini apes or drag bars with 4 inch risers? but you say your 6'4" and your riding position dosnt look bad. im 6'3" so i may just go with the apes.
I love em. Looks good. I have those same pipes on order. Must be a supplier problem with my Stealer. Everybody keeps telling me they aren't having problems with supply. Everythin else has arrived. Just waiting on the pipes.

the beauty with the apes is you can move them/ tilt them towards or away from you to really get the most comfortable "stretch" I have moved them a couple of times to get it just right. I love 'em, especially on the highway, just gotta figure something out for HWY pegs to get a full stretch. any ideas since I have the forward controls already?
The bike looks good. You did a nice jobwith the bars, pipes and mirrors.I have foward controls on my bike and when I want to extend my legs out I lay my ankles on the pegs and my feet hang over just a bit. You almost have to have some kind of boots on to prevent the pegs from rubbing into your ankles, but it works good for me. Changes the ride position a bit on long rides.
I want to put some 12" mini apes on my XL1200N. You mentioned some part numbers for the brake line, throttle cable, idle cable, and clutch cable that would work. Did they work right out of the box or did you have to make any modifications to the cables? I checked Harley's website and noticed these cables were originally for a Dyna Wide Glide. Do they really work? If so, you are a lifesaver...moneysaver!!!
Any help or advice you could give me would be appreciated.

Well its been a little while, but I remembr finee tunning the cables a little, but overall iused them just the wauy they cam out of the box. I had another rider say he trimmed them up a little etc and made them just a bit shorter, but to be honest mine were perfect the way they came out of the box. The ones I requested were recommended by the dealer and since they were black and not the HD diamond, they were actually cheaper. Dealership i go to is very honest bunch of guys so, I trust their judgement. Here are the part numbers again in case you need them.
