Have 07 1200n orange/black bought the black mini apes but was wondering what others have done w/their bars and what their thoughts are also putting on black engine guards and black forward controls.
I like the stock bars for comfort.... So I haven't switched yet... But I love the look of the black mini-apes on the Nightster... I think it really enhances the bobber styling.
I think itâs a personal opinion, but I am leaning towards drag bars for mine, mainly for looks. But like HighDesertKid put it the stock bars are comfortable to me, so they will probably stay. My question is do the mini-apes make the bike handle any different?
I was going to go with the mini-apes, but they were on backorder, and a friend gave me a pair of buckhorns ... FREE .. so my hubby and he put them on for me ... I love the way the bike handles ... I was going to think about SHORTER mini-apes than the standard 12" ones (I' am short) but decided to keep the buckhorns for now since I do like the handling. I might have them black powder coated depending on the cost, since the bars were free...
