How'd those black metal grips work out for you? I was curious about vibration and those absorbing too much heat in the summer and too much cold in the winter.
Was looking to get those but finally just went with HD Nostalgic grips with my drag bars
I'm sure they will get warm if parked in the sun. Finish is perfect! Shipping was as expected, Price was excellent, I'm fitting them tonight.
They also have a nice feature, The ends unscrew for a nice little stash spot![sm=smokin.gif]
Looks just like a DNA springer to me..................... . . .It'll work.............. . .the 6" over will look funny as hell............ . . .or stupid.............a stock lenght would look killer.....or even a
-2 under.................. . . ......just my two pennies................ . . ...............
I've been thinking about putting a springer on my N. I've done a little bit of research and the ones I've found and like say that they aren't made for '04 or newer Sporties (maybe '07 newer) due to the frame being different. Not to say that there isn't one out there that will work. I agree with Lo, go with stock length or under.

That was the exact problem with the wide glide trees and forks I got from Demon Cycles. They promised they would fit an '07, even said they did it themselves (which of course was an outright lie, and even said it again after I told them they don't fit!). The frames are different, and there was no way their product would fit any Sportster after 2004.
This is exactly what I want for mine...would not have a problem buying from them'cause if there were a problem, my old man could make any modifications to it and do it safely, as he has been building choppers for years...like the black powdercoat and chrome together..would look sweet on my scoot...and yes like the wide glide look and would want 6" over as we are gonna rake the front end with the kit thing anyways...
I think paucho makes a springer front end that will work I know I saw one somewhere but it was expensive. I to think it would look cool with stock rake
Anybody got one on a sportster? Anybody know anything about the springer front ends from Demon cycles?
What's your goal? I rode a soft tail springer and couldn't wait to get off it. The whole front end felt... "industrial", and abrupt on bumps and wallowy on mountain roads. They look cool, but I couldn't imagine having to ride that beast every day.
Maybe the after market stuff is better. I don't know.
