I think those are the same bags I have on my sportster, WillieGs, I dont like the look of bags that cover the rear wheels. But I really dont like the LOOKS of bags period, but I understand the whys

Well, If I had the cash...I'd be happy with any of those that you posted....especially the first set.
Soon as I do my turnsignal re-location, I'm putting my 40 buck70's vintageWillie & Max bags on my sporty.
These are them on my short lived ACE:
For occassional short trips, overnighters, throwover bags work just fine. If you are planing serious touring, the LeatherPro bags are a good bet. Just depends on your purpose. Can't see sinking $500 into bags for a couple of short trips.
I have the leather teardrop bags, which is your second choice. I do not suggest this bag or the third bag. These bags are wide and makes the bike look funny from the back. They hold a lot of stuff, especially the second one, but if you're concerned about looks, dont get them. Throwovers and a sissybar pack is best.
I've been a little disapointed at the plainess of almost all the bags I've been able to find on the web so far. Sure there are ones with studs or tassles, but I havent been able to find any which have cool designs tooled or stiched into them or custom coloured pictures. Anyone got any examples, or better still links to people or companies that produce this kind of thing?
I'm rebuilding after my wreck, appreciate this post cause I'm mounting drags in place of the high shotguns(can't find em anywhere) so will be able to throw a set of bags on where there was no room before.
