Default XL1200N speedometer?

Well, I bought my bike while on leave from Iraq. Since then I've been trying to customize it as much as I can from the other side of the world. Since my time was limited when I purchased it my options were limited. The bike I ended up getting had an undesired alarm system on it. In my opinion that huge speedometer is excessive, plus I want to switch to a drag bar. Is there any way to relocate or replace it?

First, THANK YOU. It's guys like you that help us to have the freedom to ride in the first place. Now, on to your question, There are several places to get a different set of guages for your scoot. Dakota digital comes to mind, they have digital guages for almost everything. Some of them even include a tach with the "speed-o-meter". they also have *** the idiot lights in them too. Most of the bikes at shows have them andI have a bro that has one on his scoot, for the past 10 years, never had a problem either. Give them a look. As for the bars, sure, change 'em out. Personally, I like the internal wire look, much cleaner, but that's up to you. Come home safe, enjoy the ride and get to know your scoot.
