Bikertrash your scoot looks sweet. I prefer the blue over the orange. Not that it really matters. Both look dam good though. Tring to picture them 5" more narrow.. Will look alot better with then new pipes. No more cross tube!!!

Man 27" is going to be narrow but should look good I think and I don't do a whole lot of long distance riding at this time in my life. So they should be good for now.I start tripping then I will get a bigger bike and hold on to the sporty too.

Letssee some pics man. I am getting a set of 27" wide for my bike. I am not what you would call skinny at 5'6 and 210 so I may have to figure something with my mirrors also.. hum.. I think I hear money leaving my wallet!!! We will see once I get them put on and take her for a test ride.
I readjusted the mirrors, went for a ride, and still cannot see a thing. I couldn't even see the car behind me stopped at a light. I guess I'm going to have to get the 32 inch bars. I hope with the new barsandthe new risers, my free bars will be right. Anyway, here are some crappy pics I took.

Thanks man! I am kinda on the fence on which color I like better. The orange was easy to spot in a crowded lot. I would just look for the one Sunburst orange pearlcoat bike in the sea of black bikes. I still have the orange tank in my basement (it started to leak around the rear mount welds) and I'll probably make a clock outta it or something.
As far as your new bars being narrow, well it's gonna seem that way till you learn to look over your shoulders more. Once you get used to em you'll probably be ok. If not well maybe a set of 32" bars will fall into your hands anyhow.

Only time will tell my friend. Just want to get them on and see how they feel. Look awfully narrow. Didn't some years come stock with the 27"? and if so do most people change them out for wider? What you think I can expect to change handling wise? So for the 20 questions.

Looks dam good.. But you can't see out the mirrors at all? I like having my mirrors mainly for stop lights... Would make me nervous not having them.. Surely you could find some new stems to move the mirrors, not up but maybe further out towards the ends of the bars? Just tring to figure out what I am going to do also.

My drags are 32" and I can't see anything with the stock mirrors unless I move my arm, I love the drags though so I am looking into longer reach mirrors for next year.

Very interesting. I guess I'm going to have to start looking for longer reach mirrors. I would still like the 32" bars, but I guess I will have to wait till after I get the curved risers. Thanks for the info..

Anyone else have problems with the drag bar with stock mirrors?

woohoo!!! got a hold of free longer reach stems for the mirrors! Another buddy had them on his bike and didn't like them.. I guess I'll put them on and see what they look like. I'll post pics so anyone else can learn from my trial and error.
