Default z- bars

i plan on getting 8 inch mini ape z-bars for my iron 883.was wondering if anyone knew if i would need all new cables and such? the brake line looks pretty tight to me but it seems the rest might reach. also if anyone has any advise on how to get the stock grips off without distroying them it would be appriciated.i like the looks of them and would like to re-use them. thanks... will post pics as soon as i figure out how.lol

Your brake line MIGHT reach. PM me if it doesn't and I'll give you a tip to make it work. As far as the grips, take off the controls, get the bars off, and use a small flathead screwdriver and work it between the grip and the bar, then squirt a little bit of WD-40 in there and start twisting. It will come off. When putting the grips back on, clean them out and use a squirt of hairspray inside the grip before you put it back on. Hope this helps!
