Default Easy job

I just did the front springs on both bikes, I must admit it wasaloteasier then i thought it would be. A neighbor came over and we did both bikes in less then an hour. I was worried about this job and really there is nothing to worry about. It is definitely a two person job though.

The 883L had an 8" spacer and 15" spring (no wonder it was bottoming out) I would definitely recommend doing it yourself. the handlebars had to be removed or at least unbolted and moved out of the way on the 883. The 1200bars did not need to be removed.
went for a short ride on both bikes and so far I'm lovin it at least now I don't have dodge every crack in the road.

What difference did it make? smoother over bumps? does it dive less under braking? how about the cornering? just curious.

it was just a short ride but.... the difference so far has been no bottoming out on bumps for the 883 and the 1200 and way less dive in the 1200 during braking andalot lessup and down movement during hard accerlation through the gears.
haven't hit any twisties yet.
