in my 1988, in the gas tank, there is a little metal pipe that rises past the maximum gas lever, and this goes to the bottom of the tank, and then connects to a hose, to breathe air from the end of the tube which hangs near the front of the bike. the gas cap seems to seal completely. idk if newer sporties have this, but you could check by just leaving the cap off a half full tank and ride for a bit.
also look at the filter. a clogged fuel filter, makes the engine burn gas faster than it can drip into the float bowl.
I would never hit a woman...... But I guess there are exceptions to every rule.... If a chick ever did that to my bike... I just might have to give her the pimp hand... "Rick James B!@ch!"
She definatly needs a think knot on the head.
But I also think it is a vacum problem. Something is not venting right and it take a while of run time before the vacum prevents fuel delivery. Then it takes more time for that vacum to equalize to nothing and the bike will run again.
I have a 2003 xl883C that a girl took a beating to, knocked in over four times left side and ripped out my plug wires while in motion. Now my bike will start fine and run fine but when it goes around six miles it acts like it runs out of gas and wont start for about two hours and then the same thing all over again. ................
I wouldn't **** her off.
Anybody that is athletic enuff to not only keep up with a moving motorcycle, but rip the plug wires off of it at the same time, can probably kick your azz too
When I was young I kicked a girlfriend to the curb and like a Idiot left my bike outside with her. (didn't have a garage or any forsight). I am guessing you can guess what happened. I called the law, they showed up and made me give her what minor posessions she had in the house including whatever things of mine she wanted while I was (being detained by the police). Long story short, two days later she offered to sell me myONLY motorcycle key for $300. Cops would not do anything about the damage she did to my bike, they thought it was funny. Learned many lessons that night and one is, I NEVER want to be 19 again. Live and learn, few people play fair and what is devistating to you means nothing to others.
Don't forget, never only have one key to any vehicle. I have at least four for both of mine and at least two on the body with me at all times.
cracker0211, you've made the same exact post three times, if your a troll, you're not a very good one, if your looking for some help try either giving different information, or take it to shop. Either way you should tell us what you did to **** her off or why she is still breathing, both should be a good read

She must've had quite some time alone with your bike AND lots of energy to get both sides 4 time each.I'd be more worried about whether or not she is coming back!!
