They will hopefully be in the uk dealers in a couple of months, will they sell well? that will depend on the price.

The Buell would be my choice over the XR 1200.
"No thanks... If I wanted a HD powered sport bike I'd have bought a buell. "
But what about comfort? I'll take the XR12000 thank you. Plus I'll save some money on insurance.
Well shelbysean, I'm workin' on comfort.... in the form of a FL series bagger. I would never call a sportster a comfort bike. It's kinda in between a cruiser and a sport bike. As far as insurance, I am a 30 year old male with a clean driving/riding record. I get cheap insurance no matter what.
A great looking bike, clearly aiming for the heart of the european market where people prefer standards and sport bikes to cruisers. One of the interesting things on that site is the cost of the bikes,a new 1200L costs 7000 GBP which at todays exchange rate is nearly $14,000
Love the bike in general (never have cared for "cruisers") but chrome pipes and mufflers???? First the Nightster, than the CrossBones and now the XR - all three should have come stock with blacked out exhaust.
REAL BRAKES are great, less weight always good, i hope they have cartridges in both of those nice inverted forks, not like some other harley models, cheap like jap bikes one cartridge and one 1940's damper rod, its time harley improves suspension and brakes on ALL MODELS
