all kidding aside, the shield is the quick release, the sissy bar sideplates are detachable, and the bags are throw over, so in about five minutes it can go from looking like it does above, to looking like a normal ole sportster
the only thing is it has the saddlebag supports sticking out like in this pic

For anyone who may be interested, I stopped by the local grocery store today and wondered over to the magazine rack. The March issue of a magazine called "Hot Bike Baggers" has a 4 or 5 page article along with pictures on converting a Sportster into a bagger. Just thought I would pass this on.

I like my bags and shield. Bags stay on all the time and shield comes off for the warmer weather. Also got the Tombstone and Grantour bags that can go on the back end (no pics with those yet).
