Hey tag, I do not have a metal finishing background, how do you go about that. Actually, I was thinkiing about polishing my brake discs. Do you know how to do that?

for the brake discs im not sure since they arent aluminium, for the housings its easy, i did sand paper maybe chemicals would have been easier to get the black coat off but i didnt think about it, it was a bit hard infact, sand paper as well as metal brush on a dremel, once the black is off making the aluminium shine like a mirror its very easy with a kit like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALUMINIUM-POLI...QQcmdZViewItem
