Oil Drain
I'm gonna have to hijack this thread with a stupid question.I just changed my oil about 200 miles ago and just realized I forgot to put some oil in the new filter before I screwed it on.Could any harm come from doing it this way?Maybe I should change the oil and filter again?Gosh,I feel dumb now but I was in a hurry to get it done!
took 8 seconds of cranking for the filter to let the oil pass through.
8 seconds, probably 20-30 revolutions
cant do a whole lot of harm in that amount of time unless you already have sand in your engine case hahaha
where can i get on of these oil scavengers you speak of..im talking like there is still about a quart of oil in the crankcase..i want it all out when i change my oil...

Honestly, it doesn't matter if you get all the oil out...and as stated before, don't use anything on the case...that hose does the job it was intended for quite well if you let it set and just turn the motor a couple times after it's done draining....it won't hurt a thing, I promise.
