I have the 2 Wheel Tunes set up on mine and love it. Well worth the money. Speaker housings are identical to turn signals. Comes with speakers, amp, wiring, and bracket to hold your Mp3 player, etc.
anyone know if i were to mount a set of speakers in a tour pack faceing my back would i be able to hear it, or would i def need to mount them in front?? obviously in front is the best way but i have a detachable tour pack and i really only want music when im heading up to my summer home wich is 2 hours each way every weekend. and if i mount speakers flush then i can use my xm radio, plus when i detach the tour pack my bike wont have any unsightly wires or speakers.
I have my speakers mounted on the handlebars...one on each side of the speedometer. Amp is bolted beneath the voltage regulator. Wiring goes up side of frame for power. XM wiring for antenna is in my windshield bag. XM bolted to a bracket on right side. If I could figure out how to get a photo from my digital camera to here, I would.....it's a great setup.
Yeah that system look nice. i was just thinking i could fabricate alot cheaper but its really hard finding components that fit the small description. Im one of those types that always feels i can build it so much cheaper. But its becoming appearent ill have to breakdown and shovel out the money,
There is a pair of headphones at wally world that are small speakers with a swiveling clip that fit nicely into a helmet. Cost me $9 and I can hear em over my Rush pipes to around 60, 65. After 70 the wind takes over and I can kinda hear them. I use them with my creative Zen. I must recommend that for an MP3 player also.
It "slipped" last Friday on the way home from work... []@ 50 MPH.After a quick thought of, "Should I turn around for the pieces?", I turned around and kicked my high beams on. Didn't see it the first try back, after turning around again back the same way I say the little blue "on" light. I didn't notice a scratch on it, beyond the ones already there. Slid the headphone jack back in at it was still playing away...
