Default sissy bar and sideplates for 97 sportster

Where is the best place to get a sissy bar and sideplates for 97 sportster? What years will fit? After checking ebay and craislist and about 30 websites, I'm running out of ideas.
Also, the chrome fender strut covers are missing on my bike. Do they need to be there for the sissy bar to fit properly? I have not been able to locate those either.

You should be able to use 96-03's and no you do not need the chrome strut covers.. Did you check the local Harley to see if they had a used parts bin? I have a used sissybar with a removable pad that will fit. No sideplates right now.. I could probably find some for you. $25 + Shipping in the continental US for the bar itself if you are interested.
