Springer = Bada$$!! Although my indie says that because there is absolutely no forward and backward give to the forks at all and because of that you go through race bearings pretty quickly. He told me that I would be rebuilding every 5-8k. What happens as he tells me is that because you do most riding straight up the bearings will get flattened in one spot and the forks will catch or detentwhen you cross the center point. With standard forks there is give and this doesn't happen as frequently. He agreed with me that they ride amazingly and look great, but there is a high level of maintainence to them.

I read and many have said that currently no one makes a springer front end for 04 and newer because of a frame modification. I could be wrong though. Try a search. I like them myself, they look awesome. Too bad I have an 04 custom.

A freind is building a bobber CB350 with a springer front end ( laugh if you want but it's cool) and after seeing the black springer mounted I would love to have one on mine. The Redneck springer are expensive.
