Default Wobble

I have a 2007 1200xlc. I feel a wobble around 48 to 50mph. Thought it might be tire pressure or spokes but not sure. The bike only has 300miles on it. Anyone else ever had this?

I have a new 1200c with only about 150 miles on it. I haven't noticed it. I will let you know if I do. Have you asked the dealer about it?

I would start with checking the tire pressure in the front. I notice ita slight bit when my tire pressure gets low and we are riding two-up. Being new you would think the pressure is up to snuff, otherwise take it to the dealer with the warrenty.

Being a new bike and assuming the tire pressure is right I would say the front tire may not have been ballanced properly, also check around for any loose fasteners on the front end.

I believe at the 1000 check they also check that top nut on the triple tree.

An 1/8 of a turn on that might be in order .

it could be as simple as tire pressre , the back wheel not in line , or the steering head bearing. I would check the tire pressure first and if it was ok I would take it to the dealer . being that new there is a good chance it is something that didnt get assembled right when the bike was set up.

Lots of things can cause wobble. I'd start with tightening spokes and align rims, and tightening steering head bearings.

Check your wheel shims by lifting the bike til the front end is off the ground and moving the wheel side to side...it may need to be re-shimmed.
