I bought the bike with one broken hole in the speedo/tach mounting bracket, and today the other one broke loose.Good thing I had some shock cord in my bag.
Ihave a new bracket so I'm ready to switch it out. I Don't feel to worried aout doing it, I added a tach to my previous 883 and have a manual. I've done all my own work for all my life.
Just wondering if anybody had any tips or opinions to share. Why did it break? Over-torquing the bolts;?; Spacers and flat washers are in place. Suspension set like a park bench when I got it, but I've dialed it back.
