I have an 03 Sporty I'm working on - has anyone relocated their coil from under the tank to a position by the battery (as on a Dyna)? If so, how did you do it.
havnt seen it moved that far back recently. Many people hang it off the horn bracket. here is old shot of mine...just used some straight iron and drilled some holes
I know the 03 has a different battery cover then mine had...more of a square like cover. The coil should have 2 holes for mounting. is it possible to use the battery cover as the broacket and just attach it? Throw some pics up of the left side if you can
