just wanted to throw this out there. probally gonna put my bike up on ebay for auction, trying to adopt a second kid and need some cash. ill be selling my 1983 XLH 1000 cc ironhead. its a daily driver, runs good, always get commented on how good it looks even though it has some dull chrome. slightly used tires with about 2500 miles on them. new speedo/odometer, new chain and sprockets, lots of new gaskets and a home made catch can to catch blowby from the engine breather. when i get some time off this weekend, ill try and post some pics for you all to check it out and for someone looking for a pretty original sportster to work with, this would be the one. i hate to part with her, she has put a lot of smiles on me and took away some rinkles on my face from the rides we took together, but now maybee its time for someone else to have some fun with her. im gonna use the money i get from it to help pay for the adoption of my daughter's biological sister, who is two and a half years old.
just wanna see if anyone is interested in buying the ol gal and thanks for any feedback.
take care all and ride safe!

I may very well be interested depending on price and condition. I'll respond in more earnest when pics are posted.
Great idea adopting your daughter's biological sister - all kids should have the opportunity to grow up with their siblings. Kudos to you, and God bless!
