As lame as wild hogs was, it was funny!! Not the best movie but not bad either. Whats to point of the guy in "Madrid" always singing those terrible songs??? haha
I may be too young (25) but I watched easyrider the other day for the first time, and most likely the last time, what the hell was that movie even about???[sm=WTFsgign.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif] obviously not my era but I just don't get it. Whats the deal with the end? Peter Fonda says that they "lost" or something? Where did they go wrong? It must be metaphorical or something. Anyone got an answer to that question I'd like to hear your ideas cause I think I know what peters talking about but I'd like to hear others take on this. I dug up a picture of my pops from back in the day and he was rocking the captain america helmet haha haha. I made fun of him but now I know where he got it, but I'm not sure if that makes it right!!! Haha!!
Try watching it again.
they blew it, they sold out. they didnt need to do the score to get what they wanted, they had what they wanted before they sold the stuff, once they got the money, they lost who they were, what they wanted most, freedom.
The movie "Faster" is a great documentary about MotoGP racers, one of my favorite all time movies. But you just have to love "Easy Rider" great movie.
This is going to sound lame but I loved Wild Hogs....lol....Movie just made me laugh from start to finish......Really looking forward to Under And Alone...Loved the book....Can't wait for the movie.....
I am with you. I laughed so hard I cried. I love Wild Hogs!
I don't know if you would consider it a biker movie, and it most definitely did not portray bikers in a good light... but there is a scene that is burnt into my memory of Billy Jack shooting a biker dude right between the eyes and his white sunglasses flying back in slow motion to either side of his face.
I don't know if it truly was in slow motion, or my young mind, peering over the back seat at the (drive in) movie screen, saw it in slow motion.
I can't be the only one who remembers Billy Jack movies .... or maybe it is just the whole Indian pride thing & I am the only one.
A few years back, CBC aired a mini-series called "The Last Chapter" which starred Michael Ironside. It was basically about an international biker gang taking over Ontario. The next year they aired "The Last Chapter II" which followed the same story with wars between rival gangs etc. I thought it was pretty cool anyway. I bought the box set on DVD last year.
It isn't really a "biker" movie in the terms of Easy Rider or anything else like that but "The World's Fastest Indian" is a great movie. A TRUE biker would have to appreciate it but a "Harley is the only bike period" biker may not.
