Default 80502-07

I recently had some screaming eagle slash out pipes installed on my 07 1200, Part no. 80502-07. The rear pipe that says screaming eagle has a dimple on the backside of it near the baffle screw. It is about 2 inches long and looks too good to be a blemish. Dealer doesn't have any others to compare it with. Anyone know if this is normal and what the dimple is for if it is?

Thanks

Thanks Hal. The pipes sound awesome. I guess that would make sense.

Too bad you have to remove that rear exhaust to get the rear axle out great engineering.

A ratchet strap tightend up between the top shock mount and the swing arm would compress the rear springs enough to remove the axle without removing the rear exhaust, keep it simple.

First time I rode the bike with the new pipes. Man they are loud. I was wearing a head/neck gaiter with a 3/4 helmet and I think I need to wear plugs now. The extra power is very noticeable. A very good investment. Stage 1-ecm download-s/e/ slipons. They look awesome too.
