All I want is deep low rumbling sound. I am not happy with stock pipe on my 2010 fatboy. I would like to keep fatboy style exhaust so I will decide on slip on pipes sooner or later, but which one?
I went to a harley dealer other day to hear how after market pipe sounded like.
slip on, full system to me they are all loud I guess, but not deep.
So if I chose screaming eagle pipes to replace stock will it give deep sound?
I would like to find a set of pipes that are low and deep rumbling sound up to 30-40mph (not loud) after that I don't care 'cause I will on the freeway.
Will it be screaming eagle or something else?
I went with Rush for slip-ons. They are really only an acoustic advantage. I compared between several slip-ons before finally making the decision. It's just my opinion, but I found I liked the Rush more than most. To me, they sound much deeper than S.E., and the slightest bit louder. Not that it makes a difference. Unless you run without baffles, no person driving a car with the windows up is going to hear you.
Every pipe is unique and you need to listen to several to see what you like best. If you can afford a full set of exhaust, you will get the best sound and performance out of it. If not, I would recommend Rush over S.E., but that's me. You really need to listen to both before your final decision.
