I bought a used 1200C because I thought it was less of a girls bike then the 883.......okay....I'm full of ****, the last owner of my 1200C was a woman who took emmaculate care of it..that's why I bought it. I have a 2000 diamond ice custom that I've cammed, carbed, piped, aced, sparked, and chromed and I think it's the most fun anyone can have on wheels without getting laid!!!

Long story short - The wife wanted to get back into biking and she "had to have" a 1200, so we both got one. No complaints here at all!

I like the looks of the 883 better - it's my favorite Harley, but I bought the 1200C used because it only had a 1300 miles on it and had most of the aftermarket stuff I would have added anyway for about the same as the new 883. So far I like it. I wanted an air cooled Harley because the V-Rod doesn't hit it's power band until 4000 RPM and is just loud. I like both bikes.

I'm too small to handle one of the bigger touring bikes - I'm just a passenger there...

I fell in love with the Nightster the first time I seen it, I saw alot of potential to make it look awesome. It only came in a 1200, but I would have gotten a 1200 instead of an 883 if their was a choice anyways, I find with everything i've owned in the past that I always wished it was faster, more powerful, whatever the case, eventually.
