Hello,
I just purchased a 1992 sportie and would like to make it my own. I would like to make a few changes to the front end. I would like to be able to put a 16 inch tire the size that is on my
RKC on the front of the sportie. What front end mods would be needed in order to do this?
If you're talking a 130, you may wanna go with either a wide glide or a Massive Glide from Exile. You can run a smaller 16" on a wg, but a 130 requires a bit more space.
Are you going for a Frisco look on it? If so, you'l only need a 100 at the MOST, so it would be a bit smaller than your rear tire.
You could also run a 2 under wide springer, invert the mounts, and it would look BAD ***! kinda like this (minus the weld-on hardtail):
