Default RE: Lowering Question??

I put 1inch lowering brackets (J&P Parts only 89.00, comes in black or chrome) on rear and lowered the front forks, then added fork oil to stiffen them back up.

Works great.. no problems.. alot cheaper than changing the shocks...
also shaved the seat down... makes a HUGE difference for me.. I am only 5ft tall. LOVE IT! No problems with any of it.
Good luck..Lisa

Lowered mine using 412 HD Prog shocks, plus a Lepera seat. I like it.

Default RE: Lowering Question??

I have 11' shocks ordered and on the way. I also have the progressive lower kit for the front waiting to go on. Sportsters sit up pretty high and I want to bring mine down. My rear shocks now are 12.5 and I will be lowering the front 2" so I should get close to 2" total drop. I cant wait. I have the forks slid up the clamps a full inch now and hop to be able to slide them up some after i install the new fork kit. We'll see.
