hi, ivejust joined the forumand ive been trying to find out how you adjust the ignition on the fuel injected sportsters i have a 2007 nightster with hurricain flow air cleaner khrome werks slash cuts and the techlusion dfo.
I bought the dfo cos i was told that it worked with mildly modified engines - cams etc, and it is diy tuning (seat of the pants) so my question is if i chuck in some 551 will the igniton need altering and ifso how. is the timing plate still in the nose cones on 07 fuel injected sporties and its just a case of retarding the plate or is it all controlled by the ecu. some help on this matter would be much appreiciated as i feel ive wasted my money on the dfo when i could of got a pc111 usb for not much more money
