That's why I recommended keeping an eye on ebay....craigslist too. You'd be AMAZED at how cheap that stuff is sometimes when you get a dumbass that don't know what they got sellin it.
He bought about 30 horses Dallas, a stock sporty1200 runs around 50 HP. A 883 about 40HP
Stage .5 =AC pipes and jet or map adds around 10 HP for 60 on a stage .5 1200sportster.
A true stage 1 1200 (above + hi perf coil &ign nets you about 65 ponies...(unless you are running drag pipes then you can subtract 10 HP) for 55 HP 1200
still a lot to buy 15HP if he was already at stage 1 with decent stepped pipes(adds 2-3 HP, 2-1 pipe add 5-7 HP).
You can buy a 90" kit for 800 bux put the buell heads and an andrews cam and still have less than 2500 in it and have over 100 HP with the right pipes and carb...

Lol..I wonder if the case boring instructions have made people cry before when they *** it all up?
Can't understand why they'd put that up for some dummy to try at home with a cordless drill and a tape measurer. [8D]
I knew a guy that tried that on his IH...it didn't go well.
