I'm looking to do some performance stuff after this summer and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the screaming eagle heads and cams. I believe that's what the dealership was talking about. I'm thinking it's basically the buell stuff but I maybe wrong. If anyone has any experience or advice I'd love to hear it. Thanks guys.
You are right, it's basically Buell stuff. Worth doing unless you "want it all", that case, go to zippers and get their 100" mill.
I looked at that the other day. I don't know what I would do with a 100" engine I'm not interested in it at all cause I'd rather buy a bigger bike but anyone know what that kit goes for?
My goal is to outrun a Screaming Eagle Springer and they have a I believe a 110 ci kit. The Sportster is a hell of alot lighter bike so I dont see any reason why with a little engine work that isnt possible.

Good luck with that goal! and zimbob i never seen prices on the zippers website.
Just keep an eye out for Buell XB12 R/S heads on ebay and run some Andrews cams...you can also go .030 over and up your compression without modification to your cylinders or cases. It's cheaper if you find takeoffs and have them cleaned up versus spending all that cash on a name.

I GOT A SET OF SCREAMIN EAGLE RACE HEADS, ANDREWS N4 CAMS, POWER COMMANDER, KERKER 2 INTO 1, W/BIG SUCKER. COST $2500 AND RESULTS WERE 80 HP ON THE DYNO AFTER ONE RUN. THIS WAS PUT ON A NIGHTSTER 1200 ONLY AFTER 500 MILES!!!

Hey, it's your money . Buell heads are exactly the same, but the work is already done for you.
