Please understand it is very difficult to identify and correct a fault long distance. BUT there is NO reason the bike should not be tunable...my wife's 1200 is carbed and after first start/warmup of the dayit runs like it is injected. I tend to agree with posts above that even if it was rejetted properly, the idle adjustment screw is probably lean. So the plug has to be removed, and probably screw needs adjusting outward. It is free. Make a point not to use any "tuner" who thinks the sputter or hesitation is OK/normal.There are threads around with step bey step description and maybe even pictures...you could print and take to dealer to show them and then take bike elsewhere.
Great ideas.. I called them and told tham the bike is NOT acceptable and needs to be fixed. PERIOD. It still sputters and should NOT...
so they agreed to have me come back and they will re-adjust whatever needs be.. and take it for a spin, theyadmit they may have missed it since they never heard any problems whilein the shop.. hopefully it will be resolved! It runs great but the little sputters don't seem right to me..
It didn't pop or sputter before the upgrade (except when I took baffles out)so what the heck??? With New pipes (with baffles inside), air filter, re-jet.. it should run like a dream right? heheheh [sm=biker2.gif]
Not being an *** to you at all, just wondering why all your posts start with the same thing over and over again.
