Default Progressives-final answer

I'm going to use some of the accident insurance money to get a set of Progressives for the Nightster. I've read so many threads on which set is the best(412 or 440) I can't keep it all straight. Anyway, does everyone agree that they are better than the stock shocks? Thanks!

Best shocksmaybe not the very best, better than stock yes and not too bad of price. You might also look at the 430 or 418 models. The black 430s looks very nice and have tool less adjustment like the 440 but not adjustable dampening like 440 IAS or 418 click adjustment.

Thanks, I think I'll go ahead an order a set after I talk with the salespeople.

I ordered the 11.5" black Progressive 412's. Just thinking about shocks bores me to tears, figure these have GOT to be better than the stock set.

The 412s are much better than stock, andare all that you will need for normal road riding.

Progressive's were one of the first things I did to my bike. They made a world of difference! You won't be dissapointed

I did the front springs as well.
