Anybody else live in TX where the wind blows out of control half of the time!! Took me a while to get use to the 100mph gust, being from Arkansas. Nearly blows me off of the road on my 1200c
Yep this time of year, you either have to contend with a roaring north wind or a gusting south wind in texas. Once the winds die down , then you have to contend with the stagnant high humidity with no wind. You will be begging for a dry north wind by the middle of july
I grew up in Western Kansas, so 40 MPH wasn't out of the question, we called it a breeze.
It was a little cold today with about 25 mph gusts. I wasn't planning on riding, but had someone come to look at my Magna
which was for sell on craigslist. He wanted to buy the bike but was a new rider and didn't feel comfy getting on the hwy, so
I told him if he paid in cash today I'd ride it home for him, and he agreed.
A little chilly, and I don't really have much cold weather gear, but I made it.
It was only about a 20 mile ride though.
