Hi All,

Has anyone hooked up a tach on a 05 Sportster ? I got one like the Drag Specialties mini tach. It has 4 wires Black - Ground, Red - Ign, Blue - Lamp and Green - Coil. I have the Harley Service Manual and it shows a Front and Rear coil. If I hook it up to one coil will it show 1/2 the RPM ?

I just don't want to fry something it only has 300 miles on it.
