I still haven't figured out how to do this from the "quick reply" box at the end of the thread, but if I click REPLY at the top of the post I want to reply to, I can post thumbnails from my hard drive easily.
At the bottom of this box I'm typing into, there is a blue, "click here to upload, a check box with "Embed picture in post"...check the box, THEN "click here to upload.A separate window comes up. Click on "Browse" and find whatever pic you want to post. Double click your chosen pic and press "OK". You should get a message, "File uploaded successfully!"
You CANNOT preview the pic to see if it worked if you uploaded it from your "my pictures" on your hard drive! The thumbnail image is also stuck at the bottom of your post, below your text. If you do it in photobucket you CAN preview your pic, and you can put it anywhere within your text.
Hope this helps!

Seems like everybody has thier own technique but this is what works for me.1rst Save your pictures to photobucket, 2nd double click on the box that says direct link it should say "copied" 3rd right click on your curser and click paste,4th add to the end of the link and blam!
On a side note you might want to reduce the size of the picture to something a little more managable.
