Wow that is a really cool looking Sporty.

I regret selling my 67 Mustang with a 351C dropped in it with a Edelbrock intake, Holley 4 barrel (don't remember the size) and a 580 lift 292 duration competition cam. I sold the damn thing right after my first marriage in the late 80s for $600 after the window crank broke for the upteenth time and the door lock fell into the door and pissed me off.
WTF was I thinking? [sm=chairshot.gif][sm=badidea.gif][sm=boohoo.gif]

I was going thru my picure archive and came accross a picture of my old 883 right before I sold it.
Fatboy rear fender, Stretch fatbob tank, custom front fender, badlander seat, forward controls and a bunch of extras...
You definitely kept the same styling when you stepped down to the girls bike.

Seriously, those bikes look sweet dude!

No way I will sell my Sporty. I already have plans on what to do with it when I get a second bike.

Biker Trash, you also have to roll it back a little bit from how it sits on a fatboy. Not much, but it does take some clearancing to get it nice and straight. You can kinda tell in his pics...it points towards the ground a little bit more and sits a bit lower. I have one in my garage right now off of one of the first few Fatboys to be released, got it off a buddy that recently sold the bike. I was gonna use it on mine but it didn't look right. You can get a kickass look with em if you mount them a little lower on the tire and run covered shocks.

THat was a nice lookin scoot! Do you have any side view pics with the fat boy fender? That may just be the look I am going for.
Also what type of mods did you do to get it to fit?

Thanks for all the cudo's,
Here's a side shot of my old sporty, the rear fender wasnt just plug and play, if I recall I had to drill new mounting holes in it, otherwise it pretty much bolted on after that. Regards to the tank, its a fatbob tank, completey changed the look of the bike,I used theog speedo mounted on top of the tank, modified to fit.

6o66er,
I'm definitely going to look further into this mod. I love the way it looks! That rear fender is exactly what I have been looking for! I have already been scouring the bay for either a fatboy or a heritage softail fender. I'll have to check around with some of the local guys too. I know I'll be able to scrounge one up for cheap.

07delux,
Thanks for posting the pics! You have inspired me to do another mod on my bike. Just as I thought I was pretty much finished... I guess these things are never really done...
