Hey everyone. I'm new to riding in general and just got an 07 XL883L. I know its more of a girls/beginner bike its just what I am starting off with for now, then I'm giving it to my wife...
that being said, does it make sense to install a SE A/C stand alone or should I do it when I put on the new pipes and/or race tuner? any info.would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Now that the first issue is cleared up, if you just put the high flow a/c on, you will just be making the bike leaner than it is from the factory by pumping more air into it. You can change out the pipes without the a/c and remaps for the most part, but if you open up the intake, you need to go the rest of the way.
I think them are fighten words. Even tho, I would do both. I just added a se ac to my V&H slipons and I had it dyno'd tuesday and got nearly 80hp vs 65hp stock...
......I feel better about my HD now that I' am aware of the fact that I have the 'MALE" model.........come on ...some one help this "BROTHA" out..............everyone is entitled to say a few dumb/condencending things on this forum...........B
