Is it any higher? Did the new seat get yourknees out of your armpits? I'm thinking of switching back to mid-mount controls, but the seat would have to be a couple of inches higher.
Hi, I just switched the stock seat on My 06 1200 C to a solo Mustang . Wow big difference . Sundowner would have fit My bill also just couldn't win 1 ..........WVleo
Hated the sundowner with a passion. Debating trying a mustang, but I fear it'll tip me forward as well (made me slide off onto the tank when stopping).

Really, that's the first complaint I have heard about the Sundowner, other than some think it is ugly. I could not be happier. I know my butt is definately happier.I cannot speak to the Mustang or any others since I have never tried them.

If it put me higher I did not notice it, but remember mine is an 85 model and the stock seat is definately different that the newer 1200's. Except for the fact that they suck. I still use mid controls.
I never noticed that the Sundowner sat me higher than the stock seat, it took awhile to get use to the different feel, but I like it now, getting the pop up oil dip stick out is a little more difficult but there is no comparision in the 2 seats.
