[&o]Hey guys and gals just a reminder I went on a memorial ride sunday without the wife everything was cool untill i got back. could tell then the wife aka warden wasnt happy. she didnt want to go with me to my baca meeting and wanted me to take my truck. In a pissy tone i asked why and all she said was i saw a bad mc.wreck. of course me mr i can ride what the bleep left and went to my meeting. This morning at work I was approached by several people who asked me if i heard about the wreck. saying no one worker who actually saw it got me a copy off the web. It seems some young punk 18 had stolen a ford expidition from oakridge then drove to alcoa went into the fleamarket and procedid to steal a radio and speed out almost hitting several shoppers. if that aint bad enough the **** pulled out onto alcoa hwy going the wrong way and hit a guy on a big goldwing head on. then tried to run on foot but he didnt get far and was introduced to some good ol southern whoop **** and held untill police arrived. but it was to late for the guy on the gold wing he died at the scene pour guy had no chance to get out of the way. The pic. of the wreck shows the bike still standing but the whole front end is burried in the ford. please be carful riding budies this happend sunday morning at 9am.may god watch over each and every one of you. And yes my wife is still pissed
I don't have any data to back it up, but I believe that the majority of fatalities on motorcycles is because of some dumba$$ in a cage. Another much smaller but significant portion is due to those riding motorcycles like idiots. God be with the rider that was killed and his family.
It seems likenot a day goes by (that I ride) that some idiot eitheracts like they're going to pull out in front of me ortailgates me. Had some woman tailgating me on the way home from work this afternoon. We had to stop at a red light so I turned and glared at her and sure enough she had a cell phone shoved halfway into her ear.
