Face it Sportsters are HD's entry level bike no matter who rides it. AND why do you have a problem with what other people think, or did you buy it to impress yourself or someone else, Duh. Does the term DILLIGAF mean anything! I don't give a rodents rectum what you ride, it dosen't matter as long as your face is in the wind. This has been back and forth in the forums, Jeeze, you ride a sportster, People will call it a chicks bike, half of a motorcycle, shortster, deal with it! If you can't deal with that get something bigger and I betcha they will call that something too! Personally, My wife rides a dyna and I have a custom built Titan so mine gets call a HD Clone SO WHAT! At least its mine and I love it and thats all that counts!
The clue Is In the name "Sportster" ain't It?...of the HD models Its pretty fast and nimble........If you want to go 500 mile two up In a straight line, get a BT.
Sportsters used to be the mainHD chick bike, till they realized they needed to fill a gap for mature females. So now, Sportsters are for girls. Deluxes are for women.
At 550+pounds yea it's a CHICK BIKE. It is what it is When HD first made and marketed the sporty. It was to fill a market gap with the Brit bikes Read the history on the Sporty. Stop the BS there is no Chicks bike or Dicks bike. You ride what you like. Most who say a 883 or 1200 Sporty is a Chicks Bike don't ride any way. They talkfrom there a??.
I wouldnt even call the 883 an entry level bike its a 900cc bike FFS,
less than 500cc I would call entry level over here you have to have a restricted bike license for the first 12 months bike can only be 250cc max, then you get an open class bike license, this requires2 full practical tests aswell
