SE Ignition Module
I have a 1998 XL1200S and I am searching for information on where to get an Ignition Module that will allow me to raise the maximum RPM above the standard 5500.
I put on SE pipes, carb kit and K&N filter and lost a lot of the low end torque. I gained a lot more mid-range and upper end power but just when the it starts coming on the rev limiter kicks in. I know they used to offer two models, one to 6800 and one to 7500 RPM but they are no longer available.
Anyone have any ideas about how I can obtain one of these??? Thanks!

if you can find a part#. go to ebay and search and you'll find a module you need. i've searched a lot for ignition modules and seen quite a few for earlier yrs.. just search sportster ignition also
