Baffles

Are there any quieter baffles I can use with my cycle shack turn-outs. Thanks

My Cycle Shack Tapered slip on mufflers do not have baffles. They are made like the old glass packed mufflers. They are straight through design with perforations in the inner pipe and a "scoop" welded to the inner pipe. The scoop isapproximately 1/3 as high as the diameter of the inner pipe. I suppose the scoop provides some back pressure and directs some of the exhaust between the inner and outer pipe.

I don't know how you could change them... they wouldn't go in or out the small end or past the "turn out" if you have the set I had on the wifes bike.

Thanks all, I love the looks of these pipes but want something a little quieter so I can slip out of the neighborhood in the early morning. Guess I'll have to go to another type slip on muffler or the neighbors will have to get over it.
