Might sound like a silly question, but the headlight on my 07 883 just seemed to get really dim over a space of a few days. It's noticeably dimmer when it's very dark and makes it hard to see. Bike only has 1900 miles. Have cleaned the outside, and am considering pulling it and cleaning the inside. Not really any discoloration that I can see. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what caused it. Any and all help greatly appriciated.

Bad ground as mentrioned. Lift the tank and pull the connector plug and spray sockets with some WD40 \\;as its likely got some corrosion weakening the ground contact.
It could also be burning out the socket....pop the lens and check it out. \\; I had this problem...cheap *** bulb ate through the connector. \\; Bought a replacement and rand heavier gauge wire with a 20$ hyperwhite bulb...still have no problems to this day.
Yep, most likely a bad connection, may wanna try a new bulb for the heck of it too.  \\; When checking the connectors, slop some dielectric grease on them before reconnecting them. \\; Otherwise since it's a newer bike, you could call the dealer and see if it's a warranty issue, then they can mess around with it.......downside is then you may be without a bike for a few days. \\; If it's an issue with the wiring it'll be covered under warranty, but if it's the bulb then it's considered maintenence at your cost.  \\; \\; Do not use WD40 on electrical connectors, for one it's conductive, but worse, it attracts dust and dirt buildup. \\; If connectors are dirty use electrical contact cleaner, and then slop dielectric grease on them. \\;
