nightster kickstand

Anybody have trouble with their kickstand on their nightster.....mines kinda floppy and I drag the sheet out of it on lefthanders...is there an upgrade...fix?&nbsp\\; thanks Steve

I had the same problem. No fix that I know of. I just installed a new spring $4 from stealer and that tightened it up for now. Spring I took off was bent to hell.

I havent had any dragging problems or floppy problems, but I have had it sling up when I sit the bike up to ride off.&nbsp\\; It kind of scares me and I have to wonder if it was just the incline it was on or if I actually put it all the away down before leaning it over.

thanks I'll try the spring...looked at the harlety shop today for something to upgrade it....no luck...talked to mechanics got all sorts of comments but no real idea...they say harley knows about the problem and will address it on newer models....sooo I guess before to long we can buy something to correct this...steve
