im a dumbass

last night i went out riding with a couple of friends, hopped a couple of bars. i had 1 drink the whole night,and that was at the last stop we made.1 of the guys wanted to stay at the bar and the other one left with me.the 2 of us were toying around back and fourth on a four lane highway out in the middle of nowhere, i look in my mirror and see a car approaching rapidly.he goes right past my frien and pulls up right behind me.puts his lights on,i was thinking it was over. i show him my license registration and insurance.he say you know i pulled you over because i just clocked you at 95mph and this is a 55 zone.and then asked me how much i had to drink because he could smell alcohol on me.i tole him one beer and he laughed and said thats what everybody tells me.i said i belive you but honestly thats all i had.and he tells me we will find out how much i had to drink when he takes me downtown for a breathalizer.thats when i started to bust out some names of a few cops im friends with.and he asked me if they would back me and i said yes.he told me to call one of them so i did.thank god my cop friend answered the phone.the 2 of them talked for a minute and the cop says look be easy from this point on and go home.i thanked him and left. i wasnt worried about the drinking part of it because i did really only have one beer,but the speeding ticket would have been real bad.and they would have impounded the bike if he would have taken me to the police station.i talked to my cop buddy today and he said im so lucky he answered the phone because that cop was known for never cutting anyone a break and loves writing tickets..moral of the story is..dont do 95 in a 50 on a highway in the middle of nowhere after you had one beer..

oh and i forgot to mention that my friend just kept on going..it just doesnt make sense that he pin pointed me. the two of us were both going way too fast..he had alot more to drink than me and doesnt have any cop friends to call. he would have been screwed..

No way would you get away with It over here,no matter who you know....3 points on your license (12 and your banned off the road) and a fixed fine for speeding,mebbee more If the cop thought you where racing and had a video....If you get stopped It's an automatic breath test....pint and a half of beer and you might fail.
