Riding jacket ???
I ride to work at 5:00 in the afternoon and it is over 95*F most days. Ride home at 7:00AM and it is chilly. \\;Right now I bring a hoodie with me for the ride home but I am looking for a jacket with some protection from the fall. Question is, should I get a mesh jacket with a liner, or go with something warmer for the cold months. I am in Idaho so it is only HOT for July and August. Seems it would be smarter to buy a colder weather jacket and skip the mesh. I can't afford to by both right now. \\;What do you think?

I got a Tour Master Draft Air- all mesh and armor, 90 bucks. Great on hot days and there is a liner available (although mine is on backorder).
I also have a leather jacket for when it gets cooler. I don't see how you can be comfortable with just one jacket.

A choice of jackets is the one thing that isnt lacking for a rider. There are so many different kinds and types that you should find something to suit your needs. Start researching on the web and you will find one that will fit your needs and taste.

I gave up leather when I started wearin my HD orange/black rain jacket. \\; \\; It's warm when it's cool and doesn't bake me when it's warmer. \\; \\; Blocks the wind and it's easy to stow in the bag, too.

Tourmaster does make a bunch of versatile "80% jackets" (goodfor 80% of the time). Good venting, warm, zip-out liner, generally waterproof...
